Al-Qalam Al-Mubeen Journal for Humanities and Applied Sciences A semi-annual, peer-reviewed scientific journal concerned with publishing scientific research and studies, and is one of the journals supervised by Gharyan University.

Journal Publication Language
One of the most important goals of Al-Qalam Al-Mubeen Journal is to enrich the research and scientific skills of researchers and students and to provide a scientific reference for their research. The journal adopts Arabic and English as the languages of publication, using prepared templates to facilitate the scientific writing process according to international standards while adhering to publishing and citation rules.
Journal Publication Rules and Regulations

Researchers must submit their original papers and research according to the designated publication template.

The names of contributing researchers should be listed based on the percentage of completion, with the first name being the most contributing researcher and considered the corresponding author. Communication will be solely with them. The sequence follows by decreasing contribution, and no new names are allowed after the paper is submitted to the journal.

The submitted paper must not have been previously published, nor should it be under review simultaneously by any other entity.

Researchers must adhere to the ethics of writing and publishing. If fraud or plagiarism is proven, it is considered a scientific crime. The journal has the right to reject the research and prohibit the researcher from publishing again in the journal. The journal may also inform national associations and editorial boards of scientific periodicals about the incident.

The researcher is responsible for all issues and claims related to copyright and intellectual property that may be raised by third parties against the journal, and they are obliged to bear all resulting legal consequences without any liability on the part of the journal.

Publication priority is given based on the following:

The research that is received first after review and compliance with the observations and suggestions of the arbitration and editorial committees takes precedence.

Priority is given to topics concerning local affairs or urgent topics specified by the Editorial Board.

If two papers from the same author (or authors) are accepted, one paper will be published in the first upcoming issue, and the other accepted paper will be postponed to the subsequent issue or as decided by the Editorial Board.

The Editorial Board has the right to issue an exceptional issue if submissions accumulate or a special issue that includes research addressing a specific topic or covering an event such as a scientific conference.

Published research becomes the property of the journal, and publication rights are transferred to it. Researchers have the right to quote from it, provided the source is cited, but they may not re-publish it in another peer-reviewed journal.
Mechanism for Receiving, Evaluating, and Accepting Research for Publication
Researchers can send their research and papers to the Editorial Board via the electronic platform dedicated to the journal on the Gharyan University website: [Link to Al-Qalam Al-Mubeen Journal for Humanities and Applied Sciences].

Upon receiving the paper, the researcher is contacted to confirm receipt.

The arbitration process begins by coding the paper and concealing the researchers' names after the received paper undergoes a plagiarism detection test using citation and similarity software. If the maximum allowed citation limit is not exceeded, the arbitration committee is assigned according to the specialization and topic of the scientific research.

Scientific papers are evaluated electronically according to the prepared evaluation form.
Paper Rejection
Papers are rejected in the following cases:

Failure to present a new scientific contribution that clarifies the scientific significance of the research paper.

Failure to adhere to the basic components of scientific research or the paper containing errors in fundamental concepts.

If the paper exceeds the maximum citation limit of 25% of the text or violates publishing rights.
-
The paper containing many linguistic and typographical errors.
-
The research paper not conforming to the journal's fields and themes.

The researcher is contacted and informed of the Arbitration Committee's decision in case of rejection, along with the reasons for the rejection.
