الملخص

This theoretical review examines the integration of Mobile-Assisted Language Learning (MALL) into modern classrooms. It discusses the concept, development, characteristics, theoretical foundations, educational benefits, integration strategies, and implementation challenges of MALL. The study employs a descriptive-analytical approach based on the critical analysis and synthesis of relevant academic literature. The findings indicate that MALL can support language skills, motivation, interaction, personalization, and learner autonomy. Nevertheless, its effectiveness depends on appropriate task design, teacher competence, learner readiness, accessibility, and institutional support. The review concludes that MALL should be integrated as a purposeful pedagogical approach that complements teacher-led instruction while addressing distraction, inequality, privacy, and ethical concerns.
