Peer Review Policy

Peer Review Policy

Sadaa Al-Qalam  Journal for Humanities and Applied Sciences

Sadaa Al-Qalam  Journal regards rigorous peer review as the essential process for maintaining academic excellence. We strictly adhere to a Double-Blind Peer Review system to ensure an objective and unbiased evaluation of all submissions.

Core Principles of the Review Process:

  1. Double-Blind System: The identities of both authors and reviewers are kept strictly confidential throughout the evaluation process.

  2. Reviewer Selection: Reviewers are meticulously selected based on their specialized expertise in Humanities or Applied Sciences and their established research record.

  3. Evaluation Criteria: Reviewers assess manuscripts based on:

    • Originality & Innovation: The extent of new knowledge contributed.

    • Methodology: The rigor, clarity, and appropriateness of the scientific approach.

    • Results & Discussion: Accuracy of analysis and how well the conclusions are supported.

    • Academic Integrity: Proper citation, reference quality, and ethical compliance.

  4. Reviewers’ Recommendations: Each report concludes with one of the following:

    • Accept without revisions.

    • Accept with minor or major revisions.

    • Reject.

  5. Final Editorial Decision: The Editorial Board makes the final decision based on the reviewers' feedback. In cases of conflicting reports, a third "tie-breaker" reviewer may be consulted.

  6. Efficiency and Quality: We strive to complete the review process promptly without compromising the thoroughness of the scientific evaluation.
