Peer Review Process
Sadaa Al-Qalam Journal for Humanities and Applied Sciences is committed to the highest standards of quality and integrity in the peer-review process to ensure the publication of original and reliable scientific research. The journal adopts a Double-Blind Peer Review system, where the identities of both the authors and the reviewers remain anonymous to each other. This process aims to achieve an objective and fair evaluation based on scientific quality, originality, and intellectual contribution.
The review process follows these steps:

Submission & Initial Review: Upon submission via the electronic system or email, the editorial board conducts an initial screening to ensure the manuscript meets the "Author Guidelines" and falls within the journal's scope.

Reviewer Assignment: If the manuscript passes the initial screening, it is sent to two or more specialized experts carefully selected for their expertise in the research topic.

Double-Blind Evaluation: Reviewers independently evaluate the research based on specific criteria, including originality, scientific significance, methodology clarity, accuracy of results, strength of discussion, and citation integrity. They provide detailed reports with recommendations (Accept, Reject, or Request Revisions).

Editorial Assessment: The editorial board examines the reviewers' reports. In case of conflicting opinions, the manuscript may be referred to a third reviewer for a final decision.

Decision Notification: Based on the recommendations, the board makes a final decision. The author is notified of the result and provided with anonymous copies of the reviewers' reports if revisions are required.

Revisions: If modifications are requested, the author must submit the revised version within the specified timeframe. The revised manuscript may undergo a second round of review to verify that all requirements have been met.

Final Acceptance & Publication: Once all requirements are fulfilled and revisions are approved, a final acceptance letter is issued, and the research is scheduled for publication in an upcoming issue.
